カーネギーでの第九公演にむけてフライヤー（パンフレット）が出来上がりました。

「ゆきわりそう」は重度の障害を持つメンバーとその家族、スタッフやボランティアさんを中心として、1989年に設立した合唱団です。
声を出すことや言葉を発することが難しい障害を持った方達が、ベートーベンの第九交響曲“歓喜の歌”に込められたテーマ、「全ての人々よ兄弟になろう」に強い共感を覚えて、24年間、歌い続けています。
障害を持つ方達にとって、NYのカーネギーホールで歌うということは 手の届かないような夢でした。
その夢が、ここにこうして多くの方々の支援をいただき2013年５月22日実現します。
音域の狭い重度障害者が歌えるように、特別に第５パート“命の応援歌”が加えられた５部合唱の第九です。
NYの公演にむけて、手と手をつなぎ、心と目を合わせて語り（歌い）合い、
第九を本当の意味で、自分たちのものに出来るように練習をしてきました。
私たちの“第九”が会場の皆さまの心に響きますように！

Beethoven’s 9th Concert
at Carnegie Hall
Mentally and physically challenged individuals of Yukiwariso in Tokyo
formed a chorus group called The Hearts and Eyes Choir in 1989.
“Ode to Joy,” Beethoven’s Symphony Number Nine that enthusiastically celebrates the brotherhood and unity of all humanity,
inspired the members of Yukiwariso who are unable to speak fluently to sing the music for that past 24 years. For the members,
performing at Carnegie Hall in New York was something they had dreamt about.
Many people have supported the choir to bring them on the Carnegie Hall stage on May 22, 2013.
For months, the members have been rehearsing the symphony’s added “Fifth Part,”
which is specifically arranged for the mentally and physically challenged,
and which adds uniqueness and tenderness to the music.
They are hoping to share their dreams through their hearts and eyes to the people in New York City.
